The Filmmaker:

Jennifer Spell is an award-winning filmmaker currently in production with her crew on the documentary, "Saving the Jean".  While cruising in a boat along the Savannah River, Jennifer noticed the wrecked vessel and the former captain living in the woods behind the boat on Hutchinson Island.  She was inspired to tell the story of the boat and those lives now changed because of The Jean.
